Easter Message

The great celebration that marks the essence of our liturgical life is Pasch (Easter).  It marks the foundation of our faith.  “If Christ is not alive, risen, then vain would be our faith”, Paul tells us (1 Cor 15, 17)  The resurrection of Christ breaks all of the limits of slavery and grants full freedom to captives in all of their different aspects of captivity.  Salvation has come and a glorious redemption.  It is without any doubt the extreme celebration of Christian hope and the foundation of all expectancy of grace.

Faith attracts the mystery of what must be.  Faith is not, and will never, be able to be understood as a subjective conviction.  It attracts the mystery of what will be and what will come to happen inside us, and with power introduces us perennially in the mystery of the expected reality that although not yet seen materially, we already possess in faith through the indescribable gift of the confident certainty in God and in His compassion.

To celebrate Pasch (Easter) in abundance of faith implicates enlarging the senses of our soul and consciences so that we manage to penetrate the heart of the Mystery of the Risen Christ and so find true sense for our walk towards the house of the Father.

Daily, we are called and encouraged from all sides to be true images of resurrection in the midst of a world marked by death, violence and folly. We are heralds of the new time, time of justice, time of happiness, time of recapturing free faith, efficient faith and unlimited faith for the manifestation of the Divine Compassion.

My dearest sons and daughters of the ICAB Mission in the United States, may the Passover of the Risen One encourage us and reinvigorate us in our ministry and vocation, lifting our eyes towards the things that will really come “from the highest heavens ” with the objective of transforming everything around us and sanctifying all of our relationships.

Let's be human enough to be moved with the reality, which surrounds our humanity, looking to find the Supreme Divine Love that in everything surpasses us and secures us.

Blessed Pasch (Easter)!
